Joshua Tree, 30 Years Later
I was happy to hear that deep track, A Sort Of Homecoming, played instead of Bad in the opening set, but missed Bad as it is one of my favorite songs by Blu Eyes. Interesting they opened with New Years Day, Sunday, Bloody Sunday, and (Pride) In the Name of Love, their biggest hits in concert. The segue into Where the Streets Have No Name was awesome to open the Joshua Tree set. There seemed to be a bit of a sound problem on With or Without You, to me. In God's Country was much anticipated as it is one of my favorites on that album. Closing out the show with Beautiful Day & Elevation was great, but I also missed I Will Follow not being played. Bono's comments at the end were "go home, get some sleep," indicating the band may have been tired themselves. I don't like it much when any artist (or Bono for that matter) go political, but I would definitely go see them again.
